WASSAIC IN MAKING: BFA AD/ID Senior Studio

The studio’s rural setting and exceptional range of historic buildings provides a unique opportunity for advocating collaborative research and integrated design by creating an on-going dialogue between students, clients and the greater community. The premise is that the time is right for creative ideas to enable a significant change in the way in which we have been generating places and advocating life styles with the recognition and understanding that architecture is part of a series of interconnected ecologies, physical environments, historical references and social networks. The studio is conducted in close collaboration with the Wassaic Project.
