Domaine de Boisbuchet joins WantedDesign together have launched a competition for two places in Boisbuchet’s Summer Workshops 2015.
Each summer, Boisbuchet organizes a series of interdisciplinary workshops where students and professionals from all over the world come together for a week of experimental work with renowned designers, architects and artists.
The theme of the program for 2015 is Design and the Community, and features outstanding tutors such as Humberto Campana, Bart Hess, Jaime Hayon, Jo Nagasaka, Studio Swine, Bethan Laura Wood, Go Hasegawa, Cecilie Manz, Josh Owen, Philippe Malouin, Alvaro Siza, Prem Krishnamurthy, Bless and many others.
The competition runs from April 5th until May 1st
To enter, each participant must be over 18 years old and enrolled at a university in the United States.
Send a CV (including a scan of the valid student’s ID) and a 250 words paragraph outlining your interest in participating in Boisbuchet’s 2015 workshops to info@wanteddesignnyc.com as well as to info@boisbuchet.org in one email.
.The members of this competition’s jury are US designer Josh Owen, WantedDesign’s principal Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, and Boisbuchet’s president Alexander von Vegesack.
The competition’s 2 winners receive each one gratis place in a Boisbuchet 2015 summer workshop. For more information on this year’s workshops, see www.boisbuchet.org.
The two winners will be notified and announced at Industry City during WantedDesign’s Forum on design education on Tuesday, May 19th
