The premise of the studio is that the time is right for creative ideas in architecture and the interior to make significant changes in the way in which we create places and generate life styles. The studio recognizes that architecture and interior design is part of a series of interconnected environments, physical and social networks, formal and material that respond to a set of challenges. As designers and users, our projects are also reflective of our life philosophy. It is where we collectively experience life, harmony and beauty in the presence of form, light and materials. The studio was located on two sites with existing historic structures in the Hamlet of Wassaic, New York. The client was The Wassaic Project that began as a performance based arts organization and has grown to launch an artist residency program and a series of community educational arts workshops.
