SCE will be represented at the upcoming 13th Venice Architecture Biennale by Alan Bruton, Assistant Professor of Architecture and Interior Design and Director of SCE’s Public Program.

In addition to blogging about the great ideas embodied in the international exhibits during the press preview days of August 20 and 21, and covering the Wednesday August 22 opening events and conferences, Alan will be bringing back materials for an Exhibit of the Exhibits at SCE.

The documentary film project in which Alan has extensive on-screen commentary, titled “The Gruen Effect: Victor Gruen and the Shopping Mall,” will be featured at the Biennale’s film festival on Tuesday the 28th at the Teatro Piccolo in the Arsenale.
