Congratulations to Rosannah Harding and Matt Ostrow, Parsons SCE PTF, on becoming the winners of the prestigious Forge Prize awarded annually to innovative projects that embrace steel as the primary construction material to increase project speed. Rosannah and Matt’s project focuses on creating an enhanced pedestrian experience by introducing a striking cantilevered footbridge and elevated park. The inherent strength of steel and its thinness work towards both minimizing the structure’s footprint and creating a truly engaging and visually pronounced landmark that connects to the existing High Line. The team worked with STS Steel to refine the original design.
