New Practices in Hong Kong Architecture: A Symposium

Dear all,

Please add March 1, 2019 to your calendars and join a symposium organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in conjunction with the exhibition, Paul Rudolph: The Hong Kong Journey. Taking Rudolph’s work as a jumping off point, the symposium will explore the innovative design and architectural solutions implemented in present – day Hong Kong.

Having seen a rise of public interest in architecture, land use, urban development, preservation, and ecology, this city continues to elicit and provoke creative responses to emerging social and cultural contexts from a new generation of young talent. The program will facilitate international dialogue between architects in Hong Kong and New York, and feature a variety of topics, approaches, and professional paths.
