MFA ID DESIGN STUDIO 3 EXHIBITION + SHOW

MFA ID DESIGN STUDIO 3 EXHIBITION

Please join us next Thursday, December 9th, for the Design Studio 3 exhibition. The Fall semester marks the beginning of  thesis research for second-year students at the MFA in Interior Design program. In this context, Design Studio 3 becomes a space for spatial, formal, and material explorations that constitute the creative practice research essential to their thesis process. Additionally, it encourages students to explore and appropriate different design tools such as mapping, participatory design, digital fabrication, and VR.

We invite you to visit the exhibition, engage with the work, and celebrate the creative ways students are exploring emergent and relevant themes.

Format for the Day
The exhibition will be open to students, faculty and staff  from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Every two hours there will be a tour visit and a conversation session. Each session will be guided around two of the emergent thesis themes. Studio faculty will moderate each session.
