Lee Gibson (MFAID ’12) chosen as designer for nightclub sponsored by Heineken

Lee was hand-picked by Heineken to participate with an interdisciplinary, international, team of designers from New York, Tokyo, Sao Paolo and Milan to create a state of the art nightclub experience. The young team picked from a variety of design fields were encouraged to “explore the ‘science of social engagement’, ‘to work on the notion of creating unexpected, vibrant future concepts’ and to collaborate in the production of a boundary-pushing ‘concept club’”. As part of the project, Lee traveled to Milan to work with the team. The final design will be unveiled during the Salone del Mobile 2012.
