The MFA Interior Design Professional Practice class hosted a guest lecture by the president of Knoll Textiles, Karen Edwards. Ms. Edwards shared stories of her professional career path, which included leadership roles at Bernhardt Textiles, Waterworks and an independent representation of companies including Vitra, Nienkamper, Stratford Hall, American Leather and Bernhardt.

Karen credits her insightful management and leadership skills to the experience garnered in her first career as an educator and curriculum developer.  With a Masters in Education from the University of Texas, Austin Karen taught high school and college courses at her Alma mater.
