MFA Interior Design Program Director Jonsara Ruth’s article, “Erased Domesticity: An abandoned house in Detroit,” is featured in the 2013 issue of IDEA Journal, the double-blind peered reviewed scholarly journal published by the Interior Design Educators Association. It is co-authored with Lorella di Cintio, who teaches interior design at Ryerson University in Toronto. The 2014 issue features work that explores trans-disciplinary approaches to design activism. Contributions to this issue of the IDEA Journal responded to the topic of Unbecoming: an exploration into the liberating wrongness of interiors.  Full text can be found here.
