, a mass housing proposal developed by a team of five undergraduate architecture and interior design students, has been awarded first place in the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) Countries category of the Urban Revitalization of Mass Housing competition, sponsored by the United Nations’ Habitat for a Better Urban Future. The international competition challenged students and recent graduates to develop mass housing concepts that are contextually sensitive, observe current best practices in design, and to work with their site’s urban and national contexts. The team members were architecture students Andra Nicolescu, Win Rojanastien, and Hyun Shik and interior design students Christine Lee and Calvin Cheng.
