Parsons BS Architecture faculty William Haksas founded +Farm in 2011 in order to explore the relationship between architecture and the rural condition. Each year +Farm runs a series of workshops and studios in the Buffalo area. For this winter’s studio, SoftCore-HardForm, Haksas and his students designed, fabricated and constructed a seven person sweat lodge over 3 1/2 days. BS Architecture student Michael McDowell participated in this Winter 2014 +Farm studio.
