Empowering Wellbeing Through Design with Rosalyn Cama

‘By practicing a seamless weave of research, team leadership, consulting, prototyping, and interior design, CAMA imagines and creates environments and experiences that empower wellbeing.’

Invited by Part-time professor of interior design, Victor Dadras, to support the elective, “Reimagining Care,”  Rosalyn Cama FASID, EDAC, a distinguished designer in the healthcare field, has convincingly showed that research and evidence-based methodology can inform design decisions and lead to interiors that improve health and wellbeing. Supporting and enhancing health and human behavior in everyday life have been a guiding philosophy for the work of her firm, Cama Inc., whose work is the testimony of a thoughtful, empathetic and sensitive attitude toward the welfare of all stakeholders. During her lecture, she also reported on the changing design of traditional healthcare spaces which have been challenged by the emergence of technology into the environment of care, and that there are opportunities for the new generation of designers to address the needs of the healthcare environment through emerging technologies.

Rosalyn Cama, FASID, NCIDQ, EDAC, is President of CAMA, Inc., a nationally recognized Interior Design Lab & Studio that specializes in wellness interior design and experience consulting services.
