Summer 2015 marked the first summer in which visitors to the Sunset Park Recreation Center and Pool used the changing pavilions designed and constructed by SCE students participating in the Design Workshop. As a result of their efforts, pool patrons have new, private space to change and store their belongings, improving their overall experience at the pool. These new structures allowed the Center’s interior programs to function year-round, thereby providing more services to the community. The pavilions complement the Landmark features of the Center, adding a new dimension to a historic site.
