Color Lab Installation and Reception

SCE students in Helen Quinn’s Color Lab course have created an installation on the 3rd floor of 25 East 13th Street. For this assignment, students worked in teams to create proposals for a color-based installation that would surprise and delight those who encounter it. The winning proposal used paint provided by Benjamin Moore to create a color experience along a long corridor in the building in which most SCE students have studio classes.
The students for Colorlab 2015 are Joe Baisch, Florencia Castro Ramirez, Julia Grunberg, Manal Kahale, Seulki Kim, Monica Llamas Smith, Matilda Mansdotter, Ashley Main, Gabriela Medes Muchado, Venna Resurrection, Lilian Tong
Colorlab 2015 faculty are Eve Ashcraft and Helen Quinn. The students and faculty express their thanks to Carl Minchew and Roger Lippman at Benjamin Moore for their assistance and support.
There is a reception for the installation on May 1 from 3 – 4 pm on the 3rd Floor of 25 East 13th Street.
