The International Society of Biourbanism invites students and faculty interested in communication design to join its summer 2019 school in Artena, Italy, from July 13-20. Inspired by the power of language to transmit, the program is focused on design as a means to build real communication among human beings, recover the environment, landscape, and means of production, and rethink political economy for a new and wise form of belonging.
Keynote lectures will counterpoint circular transdisciplinary workshops to prototype a biourban model of city, landscape, and civic organization that encompasses politics, epistemology, and design.
Registration deadline: June 20. An admission request with a CV should be sent to summerschool@biourbanism.org.
Please visit the program’s page for more information about the tuition costs, accommodation and schedule.
