E-Oculus has published a summary of the 2015 Deans’ Roundtable. This event, held each year at the Center for Architecture, brings together the deans of architecture schools throughout the Northeast and provides an opportunity to discuss what they see as the most pressing issues in architectural education today. SCE Dean Brian McGrath spoke of the importance of learning from the built environment, and the critical role of applied research for architecture students. McGrath stressed that at Parsons, students have the opportunity to embrace and use New York City’s urban context in their work. The full report can be read here.
