AAS Interior Design Publication: Work 9

The AAS Interior Design program is pleased to announce the publication of the ninth edition of Work, the series that showcases projects by students, featured faculty and alumni, as well as scholarly articles by SCE faculty.

Work 9 celebrates “Just Spaces.” Prof. Johanne Woodcock, Director of the AAS Interior Design Program and the editor of Work 9, notes that space is where the designer begins, and in Work 9 we see the development of languages that articulate meaningful environments.

Work 9 includes projects by 28 students, as well as faculty member Anne Nixon and alumna Daun Curry. Work 9 also presents an article by Robert Kirkbride, Dean of SCE, who explores the ways that architectural ornament can “conduct the mind between the tangible and intangible realms of human experience.”

This edition of Work is the first to be published online, reaching an even broader audience. The online Work 9 also includes links to the previous eight editions. The link for Work 9 is HERE!
