Philips and Parsons The New School for Design Bring Together Architects, Lighting Designers and Researchers to Explore the Use of Natural Light and the Latest Innovations in Lighting Technology on Friday, November 8, 2013.
The mission of the Michael Kalil Endowment for Smart Design is twofold: to foster the understanding of the design intersections between nature and technology and to support a heightened sense of responsibility for increasing the sustainability of built environments. This year two student grants will be awarded.
Beginning Saturday, October 18, SCE product design alumnus Peter Poulos and former SCE lab tech Paul Choate will compete in the Hatch Live design competition sponsored by product design incubator Hatch Hub.
SCE’s M.Arch program director Andrew Bernheimer’s firm, Bernheimer Architecture, is part of the larger design and development team chosen to design an extensive mixed-use project within the BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) Cultural District.
