Changing the status quo is not easy. In an environment where most temporary exhibitons are tossed into landfills, off-gass, pollute the environment how does one design for difference and continue to keep the attention of clients and competitors in the marketplace?
This exhibition attracted the attention of local and national press and now the trade show organizers are designing next year’s show expecting Q Collection Junior’s next creation.
Greg Diedrich designed a system that used only wood veneer, string, naturally dyed wool, pegs and pegboard and no-VOC paint to create a dynamic attention getting 20’x 14’ wall for Q Collection Junior.
Two high school interns from TEAK fabricated each piece of Greg’s design for 8 summer weeks in NYC. Then it was reassembled in Las Vegas for the international children’s products expo.
