The Decorator’s Club, the 95 year old New York organization composed of highly skilled and talented Interior Designers, sponsors the Decorator Club Education Fund to support Interior Design Education.

On April 7, 2011, five BFA ID juniors received awards from the organization.

Janice Wong and Jamie Perez received an Honorable Mention
For outstanding student achievement in Interior Design
For their project, part of the Chase competition entry for a mixed used retail project
for the revitalization of La Salle Street in the Central City area of New Orleans.

Christopher Mattiucci, Joy Tchamitchian, Dannia Ghalib received 2nd prize
For outstanding student achievement in interior design for their transitory housing project for recently homeless mothers.
Both projects were lauded for their civic engagement and innovative interior designs.
