Alumni Spotlight: Angran Li
Angran Li graduated in 2016 from the Interior Design BFA program.
Three years after finishing at Parsons, she moved to LA and received an MFA degree in Film Production Design at the American Film Institute. Upon graduating, she received an offer from Star Trek Discovery’s production designer to become an art department assistant at Star Trek Picard.
Angran has done production design for about 17 film projects so far including The Way Home, Kneeling Sheep, and How To Live Your Life Correctly. The film projects that she has been a production designer for since graduation from Parsons have all been nominated and won awards across the world from 30 major festivals, including BAFTA(British Academy Film Awards), Shanghai International Film Festival, Cannes, Iris Prize LGBT+Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival, and Shanghai international film festival.
