Description 

We’re a busy ceramic manufacturer with a focus in the NYC hospitality industry, looking for a new Production Assistant to join our team in Union City, NJ. The studio overlooks the city skyline just above Hoboken and is easily accessible via public transit. As a member of our production team you will contribute to a hands-on work environment and assist with all aspects of our unique, hand-made process. You’ll work closely with our Production Manager to maximize daily numbers and hit production goals. Some day to day basics include pugging clay, loading and unloading kilns, jiggering, slab forming, and general studio maintenance. We are looking for motivated people with great attention to detail and a positive attitude. Previous experience working in ceramics is preferred. An ideal candidate would be available full time, Monday through Friday. The ability to lift objects above 50 lbs. is helpful in our studio warehouse environment.
