On Tuesday, December 6th, the inaugural student mixer was hosted by the newly formed Interior Design Student Organization (IDSO). The mixer event was an opportunity to introduce the organization and its participation in the local chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Students in attendance learned about benefits of an ASID Student Membership and met other Parsons/New School Students interested in the field of interior design.

The mission of the Interior Design Student Organization (IDSO) is to bring together students with an interest in interior design from across The New School, regardless of program level. This first meeting was also a chance to discuss goals for the Spring semester, which includes possible field trips, tours, lectures and the intention of allying with other interior design student clubs in the NY area for such events and more. Interested!?
