“Building Energy Positive” Exhibit and Solar Decathlon Event

The next generation of buildings will become energy producers rather than consumers through a combination of conservation measures and the use of new technologies that concentrate ambient energy. This exhibit will show case examples of building integrated solar collectors now under development. These projects represent multi-year research collaborations between several academic institutions and industry. Included are projects entitled The 3rd Skin (Parsons), IC Solar Facade System and the Advanced EcoCeramic Envelope Systems (Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute ), Solar Louvers (Technical University Darmstadt).
