On a site in downtown Manhattan, Senior BFA Architectural Design students were challenged to design a tall building a vertical extension of the urban streetscape, bringing street activity and life up into and though the tower.
Some of the students from the class participated in the Isover Multi comfort House Tower competition to design an energy efficient high rise, multiple use tower according to the ISOVER Multi-Comfort-House guidelines and with passive house components.
BFA AD student Bless Yee (with juniors Kenneth Amoah and Hiroshi Teramae) placed third in the national Isover competition and Bless presented her “Sail” project in Prague at the Isover international competition in May 2011.
