Lexus Design Award 2019

About the Award: Six finalists will earn the chance to present their work at Milan Design Week in April 2019, as well as mentorship from renowned designers (past judges and mentors have included Sir David Adjaye, Sou Fujimoto, Snarkitecture, and Formafantasma), and up to $25,000 to develop a prototype of their design. Since its launch in 2013, the worldwide design competition served as a platform to spotlight emerging designers and creators whose works can lead to a better future for all.

2019 theme: With that in mind, the theme for the 2019 Award is “Design for a Better Tomorrow.”

Medium: Submissions can take any format, be it architecture, product design, fashion, engineering, etc.

Submissions guidelines: Applications are FREE and open to all students and graduates. Details on the application process can be found here, and any students who have questions about the process should feel free to reach out to our team at lexus@camronpr.com.

Timeline: Submissions are now open through October 28, 2018.  Finalists will be announced in early 2019 and prototypes will be presented at Milan Design Week in April 2019, along with the announcement of the winner.
