David W. Orr, 2013 Kalil Fellow Lecture

David Orr, director of The Oberlin Project, acclaimed environmentalist, whose career as a scholar, teacher, writer, speaker, and entrepreneur spans fields as diverse as environment and politics, environmental education, campus greening, green building, ecological design, and climate change, will be addressing the global issues brought up anew by Hurricane Sandy, and how designers can lead change in the face of them.

The three competitive $5,000 Kalil Project Grants will be awarded at the event:

Jacinda Ross, MFA Lighting Design, “Flexible Apertures”
Rebecca Rand, M.Architecture, “Flush Design Dry”
