In August 2009, Matthew Tanteri was the IALD’s USA delegate to “Latin American Lighting Forum II,” a global lighting conference held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Antonia Peon-Veiga Petric, second year MFA Lighting Design Student from Santiago, Chile, is a finalist in the Targetti Light Awards Competition, a semi-annual competition sponsored by the Targetti Foundation where a work of art surrounding the specific topic of light is commissioned.
