International Casual Furnishings Association is now accepting applications for the 2021 Richard Frinier Design Scholarship. The scholarship provides a conduit for students of design to explore the category of outdoor living products for residential, contract and hospitality environments, from furnishings and accessories to textile and lighting,

The competition is open to undergraduate students of design, M.A. or M.F.A. students of design who will continue their studies in the 2021 – 2022 academic year.

The winner of the ICFA/Richard Frinier Design Scholarship will be awarded a $2,500 stipend, plus airfare and lodging for a two-night stay in Chicago during Casual Market Chicago, the industry’s premier buying event. They will also spend time with Richard Frinier, top ICFA officials and industry mentors.

The deadline for entries for the contest is May 31, 2021.
