Recent Alum Wins Koelner Design Prize

The Second Annual Kölner Design Preis International (Cologne Design Award International) was awared to 2009 M.Arch graduate Douglas Segulja. The 2008 winner was Parsons Design Technology MFA graduate Tracy Gromek. The Kölner Design Preis International is an award given to students of KISD’s non-European partner universities based on the strength of their thesis projects. The Kölner Design Preis International is supported by a Cologne and Atlanta-based philanthropist and a Cologne-based brewery Früh (Cölner Hofbräu Früh KG). Parsons will be one of six universities to submit two student applications. The Dean’s Office invites each department to nominate two students from their department, one graduate student and one undergraduate.
