Re-Envisioning Branch Libraries Design Study Presentations January 12

reinvisioning

On January 12, the five teams selected for the Re-Envisioning Branch Libraries program will present their design proposals. Following the presentations, there will be a discussion, moderated by Shannon Mattern, Associate Professor of Media Studies at The New School. This program is co-sponsored by the Center for an Urban Future and hosted by The School of Media Studies at The New School, in partnership with the Parsons School of Constructed Environments.

In December 2014, the five teams, selected last summer through an RFQ, unveiled their work at a design showcase and policy symposium organized by the Center for an Urban Future and sponsored by the Charles H. Revson Foundation. This January the five design teams will present their research and designs in depth at this public event. Refreshments will be available. Additional information on the design work produced by this study can be found here on The Architectural League’s website.
