OPEN CALL FOR CHOCATHON: RE-IMAGINE THE GODIVA CHOCOLATE EXPERIENCE

(NOV 11-13)

Graduate students and undergraduate seniors at The New School are invited to participate in our Chocathon: Re-imagine the Godiva Chocolate Experience from Friday, November 11 through Sunday, November 13. Design the sustainable chocolate experience from the bean up!

In this three-day workshop, participants of various disciplines will work together in small teams to explore, identify, and quickly prototype new concepts and strategies for the presentation of Godiva Chocolates, focusing on packaging and display.

Students will work with New School faculty and industry experts exploring sustainability, luxury, and beauty for a holistic experience leading to the customer’s mouth.

Cash prizes of $7,000, $5,000, and $3,000 will be awarded to the first, second, and third place-winning teams, respectively, with 3 additional prizes for top collaborators. Food and drinks (and chocolate!) will be provided.

To apply, candidates should submit their information along with a brief statement (200 words maximum) indicating why they would like to be part of this unique initiative at this link.

Applications are due Monday, November 7 at noon.
