In August 2009, Matthew Tanteri was the IALD’s USA delegate to “Latin American Lighting Forum II,” a global lighting conference held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At the request of the Association of Brazilian Architectural Lighting Designers, Tanteri spoke on “How to Achieve Good Lighting Design While Being ‘Green'” and “How Energy Efficiency Standards Influence Lighting Design Projects” and participated in panel discussions on The Professional Architectural Lighting Design Practice and Specification Integrity.
