LTL Architects, David and Helen Gurley Brown Institute for Media Innovation, Columbia University

SCE faculty David Lewis and David Leven both received honors at the recent 2015 AIANY Design Awards.

LTL Architects’ design for the David and Helen Gurley Brown Institute for Media Innovation won a Merit Award from AIA New York, announced Monday, March 9th. Located in Pulitzer Hall, the Institute serves as an incubator for new platforms of digital journalism, creating a new space for engagement, collaboration and discourse.

LEVENBETTS design for the multi-purpose hub at East Sibley Hall, within the College of Architecture, Art & Planning at Cornell University, also received a merit award. This space is connective, collaborative and vital, fostering cooperation and creativity.
