Kimberly Kelly, who graduated from the MFA Interior Design program in May of 2012, was recently featured in FRAME Magazine’s “Best Graduates of 2012” – she was voted #1. The article, “Lessons in Design” by Louise Schouwenberg, highlights graduate work from design schools worldwide.

The article examines new themes that young designers are exploring through their work.  Kimberly Kelly’s project, entitled “Ingestion of the Interior,” investigates and stimulates the viewer’s sensory experience of “taste” through a series of installations. She emphasizes the need for designers to understand how multiple senses affect the experience of designed environments.

Kelly’s project is featured in the online version of Frame Magazine here.

Her work is also featured on the MFA ID Thesis Work Website here.
