Derek Porter, Associate Professor of Lighting Design, and Jean Gardner, Associate Professor of Social-Ecological History and Design, gave a lecture at Enlighten Europe in Prague, The Czech Republic, last fall. Their presentation, (Your) Body Sensing: An Ecological Approach to Lighting Design, introduced ecological design considerations and multi-sensorial ways in which the body senses space.
