The GreenSource Magazine of Sustainable Design recently ran an article naming Empowerhouse to be one of the “Best Green Houses”. In 2011, students from Parsons School of Constructed Environments, Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy at the New School, and the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey worked on a project called Empowerhouse, a sustainable design for a two-family home.

Tamara Yurovsky, a Dual Masters of Architecture and MFA in Lighting Design student, was recently featured in Design Milk’s “Designer Dailies.” The monthly column documents a day in the life of current, working designers.
