ABRUZZO BODZIAK ARCHITECTS is led by Emily Abruzzo, AIA, LEED AP, and Gerald Bodziak, AIA, LEED AP, who collaborated on projects, writing, model making, and furniture prototypes prior to the office’s formal start in 2009. Emily and Gerald met as graduate students at the Princeton School of Architecture.

In addition to NPNY 2012, they are winners of the 2010 Architectural League Prize for Young Architects and Designers. Recent and current work includes ground-up buildings, interiors, and historical restorations, as well as installations and architectural and landscape-based speculations.

Engaged in discourse as well as building, Emily and Gerald are instructors at Parsons The New School for Design and are collaborative editors of Making a Case, 306090 14, which examines case studies for the future of American housing. Emily is a founding editor and publisher of the 306090 Books series, which was co-sponsor of the United States Pavilion at the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale.
